BiographyObituary to follow Antonio Zampolli (1937 - 2003)
President, 1983 - 2003Paul Fortier (1939 - 2005) Professor Antonio Zampolli died suddenly and tragically on 22 August 2003. He was one of the founders of the ALLC in 1973, and a major pioneer in the application of computational techniques in literary and linguistic research from the 1960s. He was President of the Association from 1983 to the time of his death in 2003. His passing will be mourned by all ALLC members as well as countless colleagues around the world.
